Nizankowice (Ukrainian Nyzhankovychi), belonged to the end of World War II Poland and the district of Przemysl, the capital, also named Przemysl is a historical and very important economic within Poland today and a distance of 12 km from Nizankowice, Both are in the region of Galicia.

CATHOLIC PARISH OF NIZANKOWICE
Roman Catholic Parish (the name given to Latin-rite Catholics in the area) of the Holy Trinity, whose foundation was confirmed by King Kazimierz Jagiellonczyk by the document issued in Sambor in 26 VIII 1451 days was probably erected at the same time as the rest of the city in 1448. Nizankowice Parish received 20 bags of salt annually from the salt mines Solay king's property, situated in the territory of the parish. During the Tatar invasion the church was partially destroyed in 1524. In the first half of the eighteenth century the church was rebuilt with some minor modifications. After this reconstruction, on September 17, 1730 was solemnly consecrated by Bishop Andrzej Pruski.
Since the partition of Poland, Nizankowice and much of the region of Galicia with its capital in the current Lviv (called by the Austrians and Poles Lemberg Lwow) became part of the Austrian Empire, later obtaining a range a Diet or House, which sent deputies Nizankowice, a border town today Ukraine within 3 km. A small community of Poles living in Nizankowice rebuilt the church and was consecrated again on October 19, 1991.
Until 2005 the Church met in a community of 30 or 40 faithful. Pastor said today that from August 1995 until 2005 has not been held in the Parish no baptism or confirmation, and first communions, and marriages, only been a few funerals officiated.
OUR LADY'S TEARS
all began January 6, 2005, on the day of the Three Kings. The Niżankowice Ukrainian village and the small church, there is a wooden sculpture of Our Lady of Lourdes.
